Xiuwei Yang completed his post-doctoral fellowship from Manitoba Cancer Treatment & Research Foundation in cancer biology.He presently working as assistant professor in department of Molecular & Biomedical Pharmacology at University of Kentucky.He holds a membership for American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) and The American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB).

Dr Ramin Sadri undertook his undergraduate studies in Physiology and Biochemistry at the University of Reading, UK. He developed interest in hormone-dependent cancers and obtained a Ph.D. in pharmacology at Cardiff University, UK. After gaining a research fellowship from the Royal Society, UK, he embarked on postdoctoral work at the University of Florence, Italy. This was followed by periods of postdoctoral research at Baylor College of Medicine, USA, Institut Curie in France, and at the Imperial Cancer Research Fund, UK.

In the last 12 years he developed interest in genomics working at Cancer Research UK and The Francis Crick Institute. Currently he is based at UCL Cancer Institute in London, UK.

Wojciech Dyszkiewicz is a Professor of Thoracic Surgery in Department of Thoracic Surgery, Department of Thoracic Surgery, Poland. He id the official member of Society of Polish Surgeons, European Society of Thoracic Surgeons, Polish Cardiology Society and Polish Group of Lung Cancer. He has published over 120 original papers published in national and international medical journals.

Holly Brunton is currently a Research Associate in the laboratory of Professor Andrew Biankin at the Wolfson Wohl Cancer Research Centre, which is part of the Institute of Cancer Sciences at the University of Glasgow. Primary research efforts are focused towards advancing genotype guided stratified therapy for pancreatic cancer. Holly completed her doctorate in Biochemistry at the University of Sussex in 2011, studying DNA double strand break repair in the context of higher order chromatin structure. Holly joined the National Institute of Radiological Sciences, Japan, in 2011 as a Research Associate analyzing the effect of heavy-ion radiation on cell cycle arrest. In 2012, Holly moved to Manchester to work within the Molecular Cancer Studies department at the University of Manchester. Here, she investigated mechanisms of resistance to targeted cancer therapy in melanoma.

Hem D. Shukla is Research Scientist in Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at University of Maryland and adjunct Professor of Genomics in Notredame of Maryland University. He has also worked as Research Faculty in Department of Biology at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Shukla has worked on proteomic analysis of oxidative stress response in BxPC-3 pancreatic cell lines and identification of biomarkers for pancreatic cancer. He has worked on “The Nrf2 mediated antioxidant defense against oxidative stress in pancreatic cancer cell lines and targets for therapeutic intervention”. He has shown elevated level of Nrf2 transcriptional factor in pancreatic cancer cell lines under oxidative stress which is phosphorylated by protein kinase C and affects phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase and MAP kinase pathways. After phosphorylation, Nrf2 translocates to the nucleus, binds AREs and transactivates detoxifying enzymes and antioxidant enzymes, such as glutathione S-transferase, and superoxide dismutase. The IPA analysis has suggested a potential role of Nrf2 under oxidative stress conditions.

Dr. Massimo Libra is associated professor of general pathology at the Department of Biomedical and Biotechnological Sciences, School of Medicine, University of Catania (Catania, Italy). He is director of the Translational Oncology & Functional Genomics Laboratory at the same Department. Dr. Massimo Libra received his M.D. degree from the University of Catania in 1995. Dr. Libra was a post-fellow at the National Cancer Institute in Aviano (Italy) during the Specialization in Oncology. In 2002, he received his Ph.D. degree in Oncology from the University of Catania. He was visiting scientist at the UCLA and East Carolina University. His research is focused on defining the molecular mechanisms involved in the genesis and progression of tumors and the identification of new elements for a more effective diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of cancer. In details, he studies the activation of Ras-Raf-MEK-ERK-MAPK and PI3K/PTEN/AKT/mTOR pathways and their pharmacological targeting, the cross-talk between the p53 pathway and other pathways (Yin Yang 1, Stathmin), associated with the development of cancer, the study of the tumor microenvironment (NGAL, OPN, MMPs, cytokines).

Hideki Shimodaira is an Associate Professor in Department of Clinical Oncology, Institute of Development, Aging and Cancer (IDAC), Tohoku University. He was appointed as Senoior Assistant Professor in Department of Clinical Oncology, Tohoku University Hospital in year 2009-2014. He worked as an Assistant Professor in Department of Clinical Oncology, Institute of Development, Aging and Cancer (IDAC), Tohoku University. He recieved his Postdoctoral Fellowship at Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, University of California San Diego, School of Medicine. He was awarded to be a Board certified member of the Japanese Board of Cancer Therapy and Japanese Society of Human Genetics in year 2009 and 2012.

Dr. James A Radosevich is a Professor in the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). From 1983 to 2004 he was an Assistant/Associate Professor and a Certified Clinical Investigator (ICH) at Northwestern University Medical School. He has consulted for numerous companies over the last thirty years, received numerous national grants/awards, and been involved in all aspects of drug development and clinical trials. Dr. Radosevich has been part of six start-up biotechnology/medical companies over the past thirty years and has a history of consistently beating performance milestones. He has held the positions of President, CEO, Chief Scientific Officer, and was the founder for five of these companies. Dr. Radosevich earned a B.S. degree in Biology at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois in 1978 and a Ph.D. in Experimental Pathology at UIC in 1983. He completed his postdoctoral training at Northwestern University in Tumor Cell Biology, where he established his expertise in immune recognition, immune response, and various molecular and biochemical approaches in understanding the morphology, physiology, and cell biology of human cancer. He has edited three books, and has over four hundred published scientific papers, book chapters and abstracts, as well as 12 patents.

Dr. Douglas P. Malinowski is a BD Fellow, the Global Head of Scientific Affairs and the Chief Scientific Officer for BD Diagnostics - Women’s Health and Cancer. His current responsibilities include leading the technology strategy, the innovation programs and the Office of Scientific Affairs for the Women’s Health and Cancer business. These responsibilities encompass molecular oncology, cervical disease screening, HPV genotyping and cytopathology.

I have a PhD in Biochemistry (Kolkata, India, 2001) and have over nine years of post-doctoral experience first at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and then at the University of Pittsburgh. In 2010, I got promoted to Research Instructor at the Department of Otolaryngology, University of Pittsburgh and in 2012 to the position of Research Assistant Professor. Presently my research focusses on understanding epigenetic changes in cancer, development of therapeutic strategies based upon epigenetic alterations and development of alterations in DNA methylation for use as predictive biomarkers and early detection of lung cancer. My previous research was focused primarily on identifying new molecularly targeted strategies for head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) therapy. I have prior experience working in the area of glaucoma where we have looked at the effect of a novel therapeutic agent in the delay of progression of glaucoma. I have over 30 peer-reviewed publications.

Roberto Scatena completed his specialistion in internal medicine from Tor Vergata University.He is presently working as an associate professor in department of medicine at Catholic University of Rome.He holds memberships for Società Italiana Biochimica Clinica (SIBIOC),Società Italiana Biochimica e Biologia Molecolare (SIB),MiPsociety (Mitochondrial Physiology) – Unit Mitochondria and Cancer.He is also a national coordinator for the research group “ Cell Differentiation and Neoplastic Transformation” by Italian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

Dr. Ahn earned her Ph.D. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, USA, after completing her undergraduate work in Seoul National University, South Korea. She did her postdoctoral research in Scripps Research Institute and University of California San Diego with special interests in molecular mechanisms of leukemia and roles of RNA splicing. After serving as Assistant Project Scientist at the Moores Cancer Center of the University of California San Diego, Dr. Ahn joined Mitchell Cancer Institute, University of South Alabama as an Assistant Professor in 2012. She heads a lab that is interested in transcriptional control, RNA splicing and non-coding RNA regulation in cancer development and progression, with the goal of identifying novel drug targets for cancer therapy. She is the recipient of numerous professional awards, including international awards for research in leukemia and allied conditions from Lady TATA Memorial Trust.

Kirillov – head of the Laboratory of Cytology at the Research Institute for Radiation Medicine from 1988 to 2002 and than at the Belarusian State Med-ical University since 2003 till present. Dr. Leyla B. Djansugurova is a Full Professor of Genetics, PhD. Current position - General Director of the Institute of General Genetics and Cytology (Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan). She specialized in cytogenetics, molecular genetics, and cell biology. Training and research experience: Department of genetics, Moscow State University named M.Y. Lomonosov; Institute of molecular genetics RAS, Moscow, Russia; Institute of Gene Biology RAS, Moscow, Russia; Department of genetics, Leicester University, Leicester, Great Britain.

Dr. Leyla B. Djansugurova’s research interests: Drosophila genetics, Human genetics, genetic instability, apoptosis; individual susceptibility and resistance to cancer and hazard environmental influence; cancer genetics, and genetics of ageing. She is an independent expert in the field of DNA fingerprinting. Leyla Djansugurova was an executor of 2 international grants, and 11 Kazakhstan research projects were done under her leadership. In total she has 236 papers, 5 workbooks, 2 monographs, 3 patents. There are 7 PhD research works were done under her supervising, currently 3 PhD students are being prepared. Twice she has been awarded by governmental awards for her contribution to science. Her activities in cancer research were related to oncovirus-induced mutagenesis, elucidation the role of apoptotic key genes in development of cervical and esophageal cancers, the lectin based approach to early detection of cancer cells, the molecular epidemiology of sporadic and inherited forms of cervical, esophageal and colorectal cancers.

Since 1988 Dr. Kuppen is connected with Leiden University Medical Centre. As researcher at the Department of Pathology in 1993 he defended his thesis \\\"Studies on interleukin-2-activated rat natural killer cells. Establishment of a syngeneic model for adoptive immunotherapy of cancer\\\'\\\'. He became researcher and Head of the research group \\\'Immunotherapy of cancer\\\' at the Department of Surgery. In 2001 Dr. Kuppen became head of the Laboratory for Surgical Oncology and in 2009 Head of the Research Laboratory for Surgery. Besides a researcher Dr. Kuppen is coordinator of the program for academic training of the study Biomedical Sciences.

His Research interests as a project leader in research surgical oncology are Immunotherapy colorectal cancer and Diagnostic and prognostic factors for colon and breast cancers. He is an expert on cancer immunotherapy, focused on colorectal cancer and prognostic and predictive biomarkers in colorectal and breast cancer.

Hans Jorgen Nielsen is a Professor, Consultant and Head of Surgical Immunology Laboratory, Dept. of Surgical Gastroenterology, Hvidovre University Hospital, Denmark. He worked as a CEO – Ejner Nielsen Trucking Co. from July 1972 to January 1982, He was a Danish Cancer Society Professor of Surgical Oncology, University of Copenhagen till Nov 2003 and was a Clinical Professor of Surgical Oncology in University of Copenhagen till Nov. 2008.He was a Post. Doc. in University of Copenhagen from June 1996 to December 1997.He was a PI of international multicenter (26 centers) on treatment of Colorectal Cancer, 1991 - 1996 and he is a PI of national multicenter studies on early detection of recurrence of Colorectal Cancer. He worked as a Junior Research Scientist in Dept. of Surgical Gastroenterology, Hvidovre University Hospital from July 1987 to June 1989 for 24 months and as s Senior Research Scientist in Dept. of Surgical Gastroenterology, Hvidovre University Hospital from September 1990 to May 1996 for 69 months. His research interests are working with development of a new screening concept for CRC based on blood-based biomarkers (proteomics, genomics, epigenomics, and metabilomics in various combinations).

Suresh Kumar A/L P Govind is a Professor in the Department of Parasitology and the Faculty of Medicine in University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

His research interests are Blastocystis sp. subtype 3 triggers higher proliferation of human colorectal cancer cells, HCT116, Diagnostic Parasitology, Drug Trials and Biology Of Parasites, In Vitro Culture And Ultra Structure Of Protozoans, Parasitology (water borne protozoans -Blastocystis) and Parasitology (Trichomonas vaginlis , Microsporidium).

Dr Manzoor is presently working as Head Department of Bioresources, School of Biological Sciences, University of Kashmir Srinagar India. He has been awarded Summer Research Fellowship by Indian National Science Academies for year 2019 and Teacher Associate for Research Excellence award by the Science and Engineering Research Board Ministry of DST Govt. of India in 2018. Dr Manzoor Ahmad Mir did his master’s in Life Sciences with Gold Medal and after qualifying CSIR-JRF-NET, he joined Ph. D in Immunology at Jawaharlal Nehru University. He started his teaching and Research career in 2009 as Assistant Professor and joined University of Kashmir in the year 2012. He worked as Research Scientist at Majmaah University Saudi Arabia in SATCAS Stroke Research Chair from 2013 to 2015. Dr Manzoor has an outstanding research experience of 16 years which is evident from the research publications. He has published 13 international Books with Thompson Reuters Web of Science publishers like Elsevier USA, Academic Press USA, NOVA Biomedical Sciences USA and OMICS international UK. He has more than 50 book chapters to his credit with the publishers of international repute besides having published more than 40 Research papers in reputed peer reviewed international Journals like PLOS pathogen, Frontiers in Neurosciences, Expert Opinion in Therapeutic Targets, Current Cancer Drug Targets, Cancer Chemotherapy and Pharmacology, Current Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Current Immunology Reviews etc. He has guided more than 20 master’s students for their thesis and is guiding eight Ph D Research Scholars.
