Clinical Oncology

Clinical oncology relates to form of cancer treatment that’s not involving surgery, including radiotherapy and systemic therapies. Clinical oncologists are involved within the management of every type of cancer. They work on large multidisciplinary teams that specialize in the treatment of cancer affecting particular parts of the body or systems. Some patients is cured, except for others the stress is on effective palliative care and improving quality of life.
